To try to cast a new light on size segregation of particles, I recently started a project on size segregation of bubbles in a rotating tumbler, a typical geometry used in granular segregation.

As one can see in the previous video, the large bubble does not explore the whole bubble medium, but tends to remain in the centre of the flow.
